IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
For the benefit of the public health of our community in the outbreak of Covid-19, all New Words events have been postponed. A new date for this event will be confirmed soon.
In the meantime you can hear the Dead Ink Books author of Water Shall Refuse Them, Lucie McKnight Hardy in an exclusive live recording of the What Page Are You On? podcast hosted by Bethany Rutter and Alice Slater.
Are you a budding writer? Not sure how to get published? Northwich Library’s publishing workshop with Dead Ink Books may be the perfect starting point. Dead Ink Books are an independent, ambitious and experimental literary publisher based in Liverpool.
They will be leading this exciting workshop looking at how independent publishers work, the submissions process, how best to pitch your manuscript, best practice for writers on approaching publishing houses as well as how best to market yourself on social media. Places are limited and can be booked via Ticketsource or contact Northwich Library on 01606 275 646.
This workshop is part of New Words project, made possible with public funding from the Arts Council. Two Dead Ink novels, Water Shall Refuse Them by Lucie McKnight Hardy and Please Read This Leaflet Carefully by Karen Havelin are available to borrow from Cheshire West and Cheshire Libraries and from more public libraries across the North West.
Browse and buy Dead Ink Books plus support their brand new Patreon subscription project.
