Lionel Ross
Biography
Lionel Ross was born in 1935 and lives in Manchester, England with his wife Luise. He has two sons and six grandchildren. He originally worked in textiles but is now a full-time author and publisher. His first novel Fine Feathers, was originally published by PublishAmerica in 2005 and received considerable critical acclaim. (Subsequently re-published in the UK by i2i Publishing.)
His second novel Hidden Heritage (2006) launched him into the entirely new world of the Historical Saga. This was followed in 2007 by The Baghdad Declaration, a thriller with the backdrop of the Iraq War. In 2009 his large and growing band of readers was thrilled to receive Men of Conviction which has predictably received a rapturous welcome.
Lionel is a versatile writer who believes in offering his readers a good selection of contrasting genres. From the gritty contemporary scene of Men of Conviction, just a year later he has now released The Dalethorpe Chronicles, a historical family saga set in a small village in East Lancashire. Lionel has been a regular contributor to BBC Radio Manchester Sunday Morning Programme where he supplied a Thought and reviewed the Sunday papers with the presenter. He has twice been interviewed on Channel M TV on the subject of his books and has also been interviewed on a number of radio programmes. He frequently addresses audiences on the subjects of writing and publishing. He has been publishing books for other authors for some years under the imprint i2i Publishing. MEN OF CONVICTION is to behis first Audio Book.
