Susi Osborne

Susi Osborne

Biography

Having worked in libraries for many years and always dabbled in writing, I only started to take it seriously later in life – and now I feel I have to run at all times to catch up! My first book was published ten years ago and this has been followed by a further three. Alongside my writing I set up Northwich LitFest single-handedly, six years ago, which I continue to run to this day. The Litfest takes place throughout the month of June each year, attracting some well-known names from all across the UK, as well as locally, both writers and performers. My own writing, coupled together with Northwich LitFest, has changed my life completely – I have met so many different people! In fact my sixties have possibly been my best decade so far!!

(2) ‘I was not flattering you nor exaggerating when I told you that I thought your event was right up there at the top. You were interesting, informative and amusing. Also your voice carries well which made SUCH a difference. I hope your book is as successful as your talk and can’t wait until it is on general sale’. – Vivien Roberts.
