Biography
I’m currently Edinburgh-based but spend a lot of time in Cumbria and will be moving to the area (Penrith) within the next couple of years. Most of my published work is set in Scotland, Italy and Majorca but I’m currently working on a crime series set in East Cumbria. I’m a full member of both the Romantic Novelists’ Association and the Crime Writers’ Association

Workshop & Reading Experience
None recently, though I have given talks in the past. The latest was to a group of Open University students bak in (I think) 2014, on the subject of communicating science. I enjoy engaging with fellow writers and helping them where possible, and I’m a reader for the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s New Writers’ Scheme, which provides manuscript critiques for unpublished writers.

Most of my writing is inspired by places, and so it is with this series — book 1 is set around Haweswater and Book 2 in the Eden Valley.
