Biography

I am an author of contemporary women’s fiction and romantic comedy.My novels include Going Underground, Little White Lies and Butterflies, which was short-listed for The Guardian?s Not the Booker Prize, and The Trouble with Words, a tale about love, loss, and moving on .I havea Masters Degree in Television & Radio Scriptwriting and worked as a scriptwriter before becoming a full-time novelist.

In this current climate, I’m happy to waive my fees in support of libraries. Northwest libraries were a mainstay of my childhood and personally, I’d like to keep them going for generations to come. Taking part in events is one way I can do this.
