Biography

Charmian Coates, who lives in Blackpool, was born in Ilford, Essex, in 1937. She is a widow, with one of her four children, sadly deceased, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. In 1972, she left Oxford to run, alongside her late husband, Alan, a small private hotel in Blackpool. Charmian has had several novels published by Rabbit Books and also Pegasus, Elliot Mackenzie Publishers Ltd. She has been a member of Blackpool Writers` Circle for twenty-five years, and also Lancashire Authors for sixteen years.
