New Words brings Kim Hubball designs to North West libraries

Kim Hubball is a freelance graphic designer and artist from Greater Manchester commissioned to create the New Words exhibition accompanying new book collections in libraries. Kim loves to explore shape, colour and texture and we’re excited by the bold, beautiful designs Kim has created for public libraries across the North West.

In 2016 one of Kim’s screenprints was chosen to be part of the Jealous Needs You group exhibition culminating with a six week show at the Saatchi Gallery, London. More recently, Kim designed a Bee for the Bee In The City art trail which buzzed into Manchester in July 2018. Her hand-painted bee was auctioned following the trail, raising a massive £23000 for charity.

Kim’s main focus at the moment is to create works that cross the boundaries between art and graphic design. You can explore more of Kim’s work at her website and on Instagram.
