Lives in the North West with his family. Started his writing career in journalism and contributed to, amongst others, The N.M.E, i-D, the Mail on Sunday, Guardian and the Melody Maker. He became a freelance creative writer in the advertising industry for a short spell in the late 1990’s, penning many famous adverts. He became Irvine Welsh’s screen and theatre writing partner in 2000. He has contributed to numerous online publications under a variety of aliases. He is currently working on his debut novel.
