By day I’m a business intelligence analyst and IT developer for the police. By night I’m a crime writer … Based in mid-Cheshire, I have published a dark gritty 6-book crime/thriller series, that’s had some great reviews. The first book was long-listed for the Crime Writers Association Debut Dagger and has been highly-praised by tv script-writer Jimmy McGovern (Brookside, Cracker, Hillsborough and more recently Broken starring Sean Bean). I also write fantasy and horror. I wrote an episode of a Dr Who spin-off script which came out on DVD in 2017, and also wrote the expanded story in an accompanying anthology. I have a YA fantasy novel out, plus a collection of short stories and another story due this autumn in an anthology.
